Read and save these Honeywell RTH7600 Manual instructions. Features; Large touchscreen with backlight is easy to read, even in the dark. Daily schedules maximize comfort and economy. Temporary control of a touch overrides program schedule at any time. Precise comfort control keeps the temperature within 1 ° F of the level you set. Change/check reminder lets you know when to replace the furnace filter. The real-time clock should never require adjustment since it automatically updates for daylight-saving time, and stores all date/time information. To change the current weekday display, see the configuration of the system in the installation guide. Follow steps at left to select System: heat: thermostat controls only the heating system. Cool: Thermostat controls only the cooling system. Auto: Thermostat automatically selects heating or cooling depending on the indoor temperature. Off: All systems are switched off. Em Heat (only for heat pumps with auxiliary heat): thermostat controls emergency and auxiliary heat. The compressor is locked.

It's easy to program your system for maximum energy savings. You can program four periods each day, with different settings for weekdays and weekends. Set to the time you awaken and the temperature you want during the morning, until you leave for the day. Set the time to stop at home and the desired temperature while you are away (usually an energy-saving level). Fix while you return home and the temperature you want during the evening, until bedtime. Set the time you go to bed and the temperature you want overnight (usually an energy-saving level). This thermostat is pre-set with energy-saving program settings. We recommend these settings since they can reduce their costs of heating/cooling. (See the next page to adjust the time and temperature of each time period.)

Use this feature in climates where both air conditioning and heating are used on the same day. When the system mode is Auto, the thermostat automatically selects heating or cooling depending on the indoor temperature. While in the Auto mode, if there is a change of schedule (temporarily or permanently), the thermostat automatically adjusts heating and cooling settings to maintain a separation of 3 degrees between heat and cool settings. For example, if the heating temperature rises up to where it is obtained within 3-dgrees of cold setting, the display will show an arrow pointing up to the side of "cool" to show the thermostat is increasing the cool setting to maintain a 3-dgreee separation. The display will also show "Auto" and "Heat" or "Cool" to the temperature setting that is currently adjusting. Press the system button to select between the heat and cool to view/adjust either mode.
